What time frame do you use? Your favorite?
For futures, I use ticks, but for forex, I use monthly, weekly, and daily to find Support and Resistance Areas as well as major patterns that might be influencing the price movements. But 240-min and 60-min  are used to find intermediate or swing trends and minor S/Rs and 15-min to spot entries.
The sum is greater than its parts.

Re: What time frame do you use? Your favorite?
Just a few questions about timescale and periods for charting. For the weekly, daily, 8 hour and 15 min charts over how many periods do you look?

Currently, I have them all set to 120, but from your experience what would you recommend?

Thanks v. much.

It shouldn't matter how far looking back the chart is, but the more the better so you can spot potential support and resistance areas as well as price patterns. This is one reason to view in Monthly so the chart can go back as far as possible to fit in.
The sum is greater than its parts.
