Forex Trading Predictions - Is this true ?

Hi all out there...

Surfing through the jungle of information, forecast, predictions and whatsoever, I have noticed one very active "poster" at Alpari Forex. His nick is Bijak_sinneR. Visit http://www.alpari-idc.ru/en/forum/ and go to thread "major pair analysis ...". He is posting a lot of predictions of different forex trades. Here is the last example:

EUR/USD Pair Predictions

20th February '07 (11:00 am Eastern Time)

*Stay tune for the next predictions which will be unleash at 11:00 am Eastern Time tomorrow..

BUY advice.. This is a very positive signal! Three consecutive wave degrees show a clear POSITIVE trend, as well as a positive EASI, which indicates that the target has not yet been reached. Check if the wave degrees are the time frames you trade. A price move of in general at least 10% or more is indicated, depending on how far the price move has progressed already, which is interesting to institutional traders or active investors. From Intermediate to Minute Wave degrees the trends are all up. Most likely the target of the Minute wave degree, which is in wave 2, will be reached at 1.3484 or percentagewise 2.5101%. Normally also the target of the next wave degree could be reached at 1.4088, which is in wave 3.

5 signals triggered via Elwave :-
Analysis were made during market price at:- 1.3154

for the rest major pairs forecast.. visit ‘em at http://bsfxprediction.blogspot.com

Let me know, what you think about his predictions.

Cheers

Francesco

Re: Forex Trading Predictions - Is this true ?
I tried to find some explanation on how the signals and methods are derived but the how-to page is missing or empty. In any case, I have little understanding of Elliot Wave concepts so I cannot be the most reliable source to judge this service. Whether this is a valid or reliable or not, I cannot say but price prediction/forecast is a dangerous way to trade. Why? Because no one can predict what will happen and how the market plays out. My biggest problem with this method is the fact that it is very rigid in its prediction, that is, it is not dynamic. The price levels are of the same percentage in exits. No markets will go to a certain percent every time. This is a fallacy. The market will go where it wants to go and the only thing we can do is to position manage it, that is, move the stops accordingly as the markets move. The method must be as dynamic as the market. This way it'll be flexible and dynamic will ensure the method can survive and maybe thrive on many market conditions.

This is just my opinion and only one opinion.

The sum is greater than its parts.

Hi culpritgirl,

Have you actually been trading alongside the signals? I don't know the system very well. When I evaluate a system, I need to know it inside out. I didn't find the explanation of the system and how it works. Maybe we can enlighten me.

The sum is greater than its parts.
