Hello world!
Hi there,

I'm the editor of this site and welcome to anyone who's willing to open themselves to learn and contribute to what they've learned as traders or investors. I'm excited about starting this new venture to share the experiences I have over the past 5 years I've been trading futures and forex. Although I've kept trading journals private in the past, I've decided to take it public for my forex trading with the GBPUSD. It is my main vehicle for trading, the others too if there is a good setup shown.

Like everyone, I've lost lots of money in the beginning, making newbie mistakes. I decided to read books, ebook, websites, even chat rooms just to learn to trade. But in the end, I met a veteran trader who turned my trading around. Having stuck with me through the daily market action, it was a whole new level for me. All the books and learning in the past were useful for knowing but useless for trading.

So, I've realized that the only way for others to learn is through mentoring, not books or chat room. It's the only way to get ahead of that steep learning curve. When this site was presented to me, I was excited because I wanted to contribute back what's been given to me. I hope others catch on and do the same. I'll share as much as I can. But remember, the first step starts with each trader to take control of his trading and do something about it. Honesty is the best policy, it'll be a revelation to understand yourself and the market. The only way to move toward improving performance and consistency in profitability.

Good luck and welcome everyone! Enjoy your stay and hope it's a long and prosperous one!

The sum is greater than its parts.

Re: Hello world!

Hi, you can call me Bud.

What I'm going to tell to newbie, is 1st time I trade in forex I deposited $10,000 and left $500 only in 2 weeks.

Forex is a Chess, a Real-Time Battlefield. You play one wrong moves, you will lose your chance to your enemy. The only Enemy in Forex, not the people who play the opposite of you, not the system, not him or her, but

IT'S YOU

That story sounds typical of many beginners. Lose some, lose some more before educating onself begins. When it comes to highly leverage trading, the account can go pretty fast toward 0, especially for forex, where it goes up to 200x, unlike stocks (4x) and futures (10x). I'd be very careful going all out in the beginning.

This is a very good idea to give a self introduction. This helps to let others know what you are how you may be of help to others.
