My first GBPUSD system
Hi Everyone,

The purpose of this thread is journal of a walk-forward of the system I've recently developed, backtested, optimized and backtested again. Now the last step is to test it in real to find out if the system can hold itself up against slippages, commissions, among other mishaps in the real world. Any comments and feedback will be welcomed.

The sum is greater than its parts.

Re: My first GBPUSD system

First off, here's what I found after creating it, testing, tweaking to make it as smooth a 45 degree angle to the upper right as possible. I've been working on this over the last few months. Although I haven't tested on other pairs yet, I want to get this out first in real time and then take my time to get to test it on other pairs.

Additional information, all the trades are 1-lot (100K) and slippage and commissions are included. Just for the record, the slippage is not 3 or 4 pip spread but 2. I have an account with a NDD (non-dealing desk broker), so I've included 2 pips are worst possible scenario although many hours I've seen 1 pip spread only. I added commissions based on 1-lot trade. I'll add more details as time goes on.

Re: My first GBPUSD system
Here's the first trade recorded for this journal. Although I've been walk-forward it 1 month before posting them here now. It seems positive so far, but I'll start from scratch see how it goes from here on (starting at 0).

Here's the trade attached with the previous chart. I'll post the exit and P/L as part of this journal.
