Exit long

In case anyone has been following this thread, I was stopped out, but I made a re-entry at the same spot as the previous trade. Why? It usually takes a few trades before the next one works. Picking bottom is not easy but a few times is usually helpful if you can withstand the small losses before the big winner comes around.

Week in review

The expected end of the correction just became an extended correction. I think that caught quite a few traders off guard, including myself. But the retest of the recent bottom will be carefully watched this week.

Last Friday's report look like it gave a positive (bad news for USD of course) for EURUSD bulls. The GBPUSD and EURUSD moved off from their respective support. The pullback might be over and the trend may now be resuming. Watch for pullbacks to go long on smaller timeframes.

No big movement is expected today until the NFP is announcement. Most traders are already flatten their position to avoid volatility. GBPUSD and EURUSD looking more bullish after yesterday's price reactions to support at monthly S1, respectively. As long as they stay above these levels, they may give possible clues to how the prices may react to NFP news.

This week sees a continued down movement of the GBPUSD and EURUSD. Tokyo began the session without much fanfare. London didn't do much to push out the day's range set by Tokyo. NY is expected the same way unless news today will influence the breakout.

GBPUSD touched the bottom channel and quickly rebounded from there. It's possible the CPI news may have helped push the prices higher. In any case, the channel is intact for the moment.
